With all the turmoil the brand new 2 wheel self balancing electric scooter, 2015 may be an exciting year for gadget fans. Across the world, folks are taking to YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to share photos and videos of themselves zipping around for this 2 wheel contraption which basically appears to be a board using a wheel on either sides.

A mix of a skateboard plus a segway, this mini Segway (without the handle) type thing is bolstering in popularity, fuelled partly because of the level of celebrities which are seen on a single. From Attacking young boys to Soulja Boy, Kendall Jenner to Jamie Foxx, have the ability to tried their hand as of this nifty little gadget, and seem to have a wide range of fun this.

Nicknamed the ‘swegway’ (as a consequence of it’s likeness on the Segway, but a ‘cooler’ version) we’re not sure entirely where this specific electric scooter came from or who invented the primary. More than likely it came from some factory in China. The first glimpses we were treated to from it in the media were a program referred to as IO Hawk, a scooter that sells for an impressive $1800. It was back in January of 2015. Ever since then many cheaper versions of the product attended available on the market plus the average price presently is apparently around $500.

What makes it work? Basically you stand on both the panels and shift your system weight slightly forward or slightly back plus it senses this bodyweight change and moves backwards or forwards. Additionally, it may turn left or right. This scooter is turning out to be so popular it’s actually being touted because personal mobility device of the future. Who would like to walk when you’re able to glide, right? Plus it’s really a lot faster than walking, travelling at speeds of 6mph to 10mph.

Where can you purchase one? These are available on several different websites but under different brands possibly at vastly different prices. As an example the IO Hawk mentioned previously is $1800 as you move the Phunkeeduck is concerning $1500 and much cheaper may be the Monorover R2 which comes in just $400-$600 (dependant upon that you purchase it). What’s the difference between these? None at all. Actually they are all almost the exact same except for a number of small, hardly noticeable differences. It simply depends upon your financial allowance and no matter whether name is important for you.
